CNY Celebration...

on the second day of Chinese New Year,
had dim sum breakfast with my daddy's primary classmates. it's been a tradition that on the second day of Chinese New Year, my daddy's primary classmates will meet together and chitchat. moreover, it's not just one or two families that come, but ten families. and you can see that many hongbaos will be collected. haha! however, it's so good to see them, meeting up with each other till this age.

After the whole Bai Nian, met Suqin for a long reunion hangout at TCC. it's been so many months since i go out with Suqin. miss the days of laughter and jokes of one another. (:

after chilling for a few hours, we headed down to Selina's house for killing of time. Haha! Selina's house is always filled with so many fun - mahjong, her parents, her nuisance, etc. it was very enjoyable, in her house.

I went to have lunch with my dad and sister at Jalan Besar "Malan Lamian".

after the fabulous lunch with my dad, went to visit my grandpa and grandma. it had been a long time that i've ever see them. miss them so much. (:

i'm sad that you didn't keep your promise to come back. it's okay now. i know you have your difficulties. but i want to tell you that i miss you. there's so much things i want to show you. awaiting for your arrival. (:

i'm stuck in my room right now, alone. =[

daddy ask me to keep a watch in the night. saying it's some tradition that if the children stay awake in the night till the next morning, their parents will have longer life. i find it hilarious and stewdpid, 'cos it seems to make no sense at all. no sleeping doesn't has any link with longer life. totally no connection between the two. mmm, i'm thinking who's the one coming up with all those weird theory? i guess that person has nothing better to do in his/her life, huh.

however, at this moment, i can clearly hear my sister sleeping soundly on the bed, behind me. while i'm here, pouring out my grievances. so unfair! =[
but then, it's okay. being an obedient and fillial child, i shall obey my daddy. honor my parents, right? haha! alright, off to find entertainment now. Tata. (:

oh yar, went shopping in chinatown yesterday. it was tiring but fun. finally, i could go down to chinatown for shopping of chinese new year's goods. great, i'm more contented to celebrate for this chinese new year now. (: heehees.

Chinese New Year is coming! wee~
it seems like yesterday that i celebrate cny. time past by so fast that i could not even get hold of it. nonetheless, i'm glad that i ended 2007 with a smile to it. although last year was fulled with ups and downs, struggles upon struggles, but i'm delighted that i grew so much from it. of course, i thanked God for being there with me. without Him, i won't be the real Isabel this day. (:

2008, yes! 8 stands for new beginning. a new start to everything, from the inside out. i'm convicted to change. no matter how many comments or spoken words i recieved or heard, i'm still happy that i get to know it, acknowledge it. like what pastor Tan says, change doesn't happens at that point of time, it takes time. for me, i don't know how long will it takes. but i know the day will come someday, soon. & i can't wait for the day to come. (:

this coming chinese new year would be a different one for me. 'cos i've got a different mindset and thinking, better from last year. like always said, from glory to glory. and of course, more hongbaos and delicious, mouth-watering food. haha! (:

my first reunion dinner was with my second family, e458. we had it at huizhen's house; corridor. it was a fabulous meal. we had steamboat and barberque, all cooked, exclusively by e458. haha! lots of fun, i must say. especially mahjong time with them. of course, no gambling. we used peanuts as our money. haha! snapshots were taken too.
